Bob Steele is the head coach of the Bob Steele Salon Aveda group of salons in Atlanta, Georgia. He has 25 years of success at building a salon from one stylist to a team of over 75. The 2001 June issue of Celebrity 101 Hairstyles voted Bob Steele Salon Aveda as "Best Of The Best USA Salons" in the category of "Best of Creative Haircuts & Hair Color". Bob is the founder and facilitator of Team O2O (Team Owner to Owner — salon owners helping salon owners). With Team O2O, he teaches the 13 systems that he uses to run his salons. He has been carrying Aveda products since 1979 when Horst himself was doing the product knowledge classes. Bob is on the Board of Advisors of two beauty schools and is a member of Intercoiffure. The salon's work is published in many national and international magazines, including three front covers.

Joseph Stezzi is Chief Financial Officer for all Rizzieri Corporation enterprises. Joe is also president of Rizzieri Enterprises, which is a management company for the next generation of Rizzieri Salon and Spas. He is also a business consultant, planner and former CPA who has conducted seminars and workshops throughout the United States and Canada. Joe has developed, through his fifteen years of experience, business concepts that have simple business principles as their foundation and are integrated with standards and a commitment to excellence. Joe was voted by SJ Magazine as one of the 33 people to watch in South Jersey for the year 2003.

Entrepreneur, cosmetologist, stylist and salon and spa owner, Zenda Stakelbeck created Z Salon and Spa in 1992. Zenda was named "Business Woman of the Year" by the National Association of Women Business Owners in 2002. In November of 2004, she was awarded the Torch Award by the regional Better Business Bureau for outstanding marketplace ethics. She is a regular teacher/lecturer at NCA National and Annual Conventions. Zenda's love for helping others achieve their ultimate in beauty and wellness dates back to 1981, when she became a licensed cosmetologist.

Frank Rizzieri, a nationally recognized stylist, colorist and beauty consultant, is the visionary behind all the Rizzieri enterprises, which include two popular award-winning salons, two award-honored day spas, respected schools of cosmetology, massage and yoga and a rapidly developing management consulting firm, all located in South Jersey just east of Philadelphia. Rizzieri has traditionally been a family enterprise, and Frank continues and extends that tradition.


SUSAN HAISE: GROWTH STRATEGY

Susan has been in the Aveda network for 15 years. During this time, she was with the distributor Salon Systems for five years. In 1990, she won the Midwest Regional Account Executive Award for the Aveda Corporation. At the age of 25, she started her own company, The Skin Institute and Day Spa, which began with only 6 team members. Today, it celebrates over 150 team members and cares for 1,200 guests per week (now known as Neroli Salon & Spa). She also developed the Institute of Beauty and Wellness in 1994, which now has over 80 students and services 400 clients per week. Both divisions donate time and funding to environmental and cancer research organizations.


MARTY FLAHERTY: BENCHMARKS

Marty Flaherty is a veteran of 25 years in the cosmetics industry. Starting with Avon Products Inc. as a chemist, after completing his M.B.A, he later relocated to Southern California to join Redken Laboratories Inc. in a manufacturing role. He later became VP of International Marketing, overseeing 42 countries, then taking an overseas assignment as General Manager of Redken Japan.

He joined Aveda Corp. in August 2002 where, as VP of Salon/Spa Development, he is responsible for the operations of two company- owned salons as well as development of salon/spa marketing programs for the entire AVEDA network.
