Hugo Hamlet: The Joy of Being Yourself
Actor, Comedian & Musician | Serious Business® 2027 Speaker
What becomes possible when you stop second-guessing yourself and start embracing who you are?
For Hugo Hamlet, that question lives at the intersection of creativity, self-expression, and joy. The London-based actor, comedian, and musician brings an infectious energy to his work, encouraging others to celebrate their individuality and make more room for play.
A Life Rooted in Performance
Born in London to a family of performers, Hugo grew up with entertainment in his DNA. Of Swedish and Australian descent, he followed his creative curiosity through different artistic projects before traveling to Paris to study clowning with renowned teacher Philippe Gaulier.
His search for joy also became a personal journey through self-doubt toward greater confidence in who he is. That experience now informs the messages of encouragement, spirituality, and transformation he shares with his audience.
Through humor, music, and a willingness to be fully himself, Hugo has built an international community drawn to his warmth and unmistakable personality. His satirical track Businessman expanded that reach, creating demand for live performances and eventually a live tour.
Whether through song, dance, or laughter, his work invites people to reconnect with the pleasure of expressing themselves.
Getting Clear on Who You Are
In an industry built on creativity and connection, your individuality is part of what you bring to the room. Yet expectations, comparison, and self-doubt can make it difficult to trust your own voice.
Hugo’s story offers a joyful connection to Getting Clear, the Serious Business® 2027 theme: recognizing what makes you unique and giving yourself permission to express it.
For salon owners, stylists, and creative leaders, it’s an invitation to consider how confidence and play can shape the way you create, connect, and show up for others.
Join us at Serious Business® 2027 as we welcome Hugo Hamlet—a performer whose enthusiasm for life reminds us there is power in being ourselves.
